The 2015 season is just 4 weeks old and the point battles are starting to take shape.  This Friday night, May 29th we are back in action with a Hobby Stock special and rescheduled Late Model show.  Sport Compacts have the night off.

With his first ever IMCA Sport Compact feature win Friday night, Jason Berg is on top of the points. Defending IMCA Sport Compact track champion, Josh Roehrich and Chase Schlafmann are tied being just two points back.  Kody Stoxen and Brandon Anderson rounding out the top-five.

After winning his first ever feature win on May 8th, Hobby Stock driver Nathan Messer finds himself in first place in the Hobby Stock points.  Wyatt Rath-Wald is a mere 2 points out of the lead.  Brent Vetter jumps into third place after his Feature win this past Friday night.  Keith McCleary and Jaren Wald round out the top-five.

Last year’s INEX Legend track champion and driver of the year, Donavin Wiest has left off where he was last year dominating the early points as he leads Troy Hoff by 22 points.  The yellow number 1 of Steven Knutz has pulled into 3rd in the points, thanks to his back-to-back Feature wins.  Drew Papke of Bismarck coming off a win at NoDak Speedway is in 4th and Minot’s Shane Williams is 5th in the points.

Just three points separate first and second place in the WISSOTA Street Stocks.  Matt Brendel leads with Matt Dosch in second place.  An IMCA Hobby Stock driver, Brandon Beeter is out to prove that his car can compete with the WISSOTA Street Stocks as Brandon is 3rd in the point standings followed by Shawn Volk and Dustin Frank.

Marlyn Seidler, after having been in first place place in the IMCA Modified point standings has given up the lead to Shawn Strand.  Strand leads Seidler by a slim one point.  Jeremy Keller is only two off the pace followed by last year’s runner up track champion, Spencer Wilson and Jamestown’s Jason Grimes.
