Dacotah Speedway:  What was your most memorable race and why?

Brad:  The Governor’s Cup in 2012.  In 2012 the Governor’s Cup was a two-day show with both days being full racing shows.  I ended up winning the feature both nights and won the Governor’s Cup championship.

Dacotah Speedway:  What is your dream car?
Brad:  Camaro ZL1, though I really like the Mustang GT500 as well.

Dacotah Speedway:  What racing accomplishment are you most proud of?
Brad:  Winning the Dacotah Speedway WISSOTA Street Stock Championship in 2012 and 2013.  Also winning the Dacotah Speedway driver of the year in 2012.

Dacotah Speedway:  What is your favorite non-racing hobby?
Brad:  There are others?  Probably a toss-up between golf and bowling.  Though nothing beats hanging out with my kids and wife!

Dacotah Speedway:  What is the most embarrassing racing moment that you would own up to
Brad:  I believe it was in 2011 at the Harvest shoot-out at Southwest Speedway.  I was leading the WISSOTA Street Stock feature and got passed with one or two laps to go.  In the last corner I went way too fast and smashed into the side of the leader – he hit the brakes and I ended up winning, which was also my first feature win, but I felt terrible about how I went about it.  I wasn’t trying to hit him but had a lapse in judgment.  I don’t know if I thought my car would stick in the bottom of the corner or what.  It was a terrible call on my part that I still feel bad about and I’ll never forget it especially being my first feature win.

Dacotah Speedway:  What was your first racing t-shirt you had?
Brad:  I think it was a Shawn Strand racing t-shirt.
