Berg Wins Consequential 9th Feature Victory
After a complete restart, points leader Jason Berg grabbed the lead when the green flag waved in the IMCA Sport Compact feature. An early caution regrouped the field and on the restart, second place Chase Schlafmann battled for the lead. Berg started to pull away when he settled into his groove. As the checkered flag neared, fifth place Ken Sandberg caught Craig Kastner for fourth. As they crossed the Open Road Honda finish line, Craig Kastner held off Ken Sandberg by a car length for fourth place. Alex Thompson finished third behind second place Chase Schlafmann. Jason Berg extended his points lead as he won his ninth feature victory of the season.

Gartner Dominates Hobby Stock Feature
Bill Hultberg started on the pole in the Hobby Stock feature. Outside pole sitter John Gartner Jr quickly grabbed the lead out of turn two. Hultberg and John Roehrich raced side by side before Curt Michaelsohn took it three wide for second. Michaelsohn muscled his way into second as Brent Vetter shuffled into third. Cautions came early and they came often. While racing for third, Vetter and points leader Jeremy Engelhardt made contact, leaving Vetter spun out in turn four with six laps to go. Engelhardt was charged with the caution but on the restart, Vetter passed Michaelsohn for second. Michaelsohn got loose, losing third place to Wyatt Rath-Wald. A final caution with three laps to go left fifth place Josh Roehrich with his hands full with a speedy Nathan Messer and Dylan Sandberg. However, as they crossed the finish line, Josh Roehrich held onto finish fifth. Curt Michaelsohn finished fourth behind third place Wyatt Rath-Wald. Brent Vetter had to settle for second behind feature winner John Gartner Jr who led all 15 laps to win his second feature of the season at Dacotah Speedway.

Papke Ends Year Long Winless Drought in Victory Lane
Outside pole sitter Brian Hanson took the lead from pole sitter Mike Dowling in the INEX Legends feature. Hanson led early as Dowling got loose and lost valuable track position to Casey Martin, Ivan Sailer, Drew Papke and Troy Hoff.As Martin challenged Hanson for the lead, Sailer and Papke were all over Martin’s rear bumper. Contact among the leaders left Martin spun out on the top of turn four with six laps to go. On the restart, Papke and Donavin Wiest raced door to door for second. Papke cleared Wiest for second and quickly challenged Hanson for the lead. Papke dove low under Hanson as Hanson got loose and took the lead with three laps to go. The following lap, Hoff slipped by for second. Hoff gave it all he had, diving low under Papke on the final lap but Papke’s highline around the speedway gave him the momentum to pick up his feature victory of the year at Dacotah Speedway. Brian Hanson held off Donavin Wiest for third as Ivan Sailer narrowly edged Mike Dowling for fifth.

Frederick Returns to Victory Lane
Dustin Frank and Brad Kadrmas raced side by side for the lead in the WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Flying along the high side of the track, Royce Jawaski came from 10th to first in just three laps. Following Jawaski on the high side, Hunter Domagala grabbed second as Zach Frederick and Allen Frederick battled for third. A caution with eight laps to go regrouped the field. On the restart, Zach Frederick took it three wide for the lead. The bottom line prevailed as Frederick grabbed the lead with seven laps to go. Bismarck’s Andrew Bargmann started on the pole in the IMCA Modified feature but it was Shawn Strand who quickly took the lead. Strand started to pull away from the field until an early caution reset the field on lap seven. Jason Wolla was all over Strand’s rear bumper on the restart. They raced side by side for several laps but Wolla could not complete the pass. A caution with 10 laps to go, gave Wolla the opportunity to take the lead with nine laps to go. Jeremy Keller, who started 12, found speed on the high side and rocketed into the second position.Keller cut into Wolla’s lead before another caution regrouped the field with six laps to go. On the final restart, Wolla pulled away and won his fourth feature victory of the season. Points leader Jeremy Keller finished second ahead of Marlyn Seidler.
