For Sale: 2009 Twister Chassis street stock turn-key. This is the prototype Twister built by Russ John, the second one is driven by Eric Harpole and the third one is brand new on the jig yet. The car is built to flex and works great on dry slick and tacky tracks. Russ spent countless hours designing the tubular upper a-arms and the front end geometry is probably better than any other car out there. Camber gain, bumpsteer, etc. is all as good as it gets. The chassis went back to Russ every winter for a complete check over and any updates. Motor is from Tim’s Automotive, open motor with EQ heads, no expense spared, hollow stem valves, lightweight pistons, Willy’s carb with adjustable air bleeds currently set up to run CHP (will also throw in $400 Race Air weather computer for monitoring jetting). This was one of the first street stock motors Tim’s built with EQ heads and they flow tested multiple sets of valves until the found the ones that flowed the best. 13 nights since first refresh, motor has been meticulously cared for which can be verified by Tim’s. KRC power steering pump and serpentine belt system with idler. Natco M200 transmission with small convertor, lightest driveshaft the rules will allow from Fastshafts. Moser 59” rear end with extra lightweight hollow torque absorbing torsion bar axles (twist for extra traction) from DRP Performance. These axles are $269 each, also have one spare and a set of regular solid axles for rough tracks. 7 full custom shock package from Elite Shock Service ($1400 new, freshened June of 2015). Gears that go with the car include 6.00, 6.14, 6.20, 6.50, and 6.66 (all 31 spline full spool). Quick car gauges, recall tach, Ultra Shield seat, Impact belts, helmet blower, optima battery, roller bearing gas pedal, B&M tranny cooler. Car has finished in top 5 in points at Dacotah Speedway since being built in 2009, finished 3rd in 2011 and 2012, 2nd in 2013 and 2014, 4th in 2015, and was runner-up at Governor’s Cup in 2012 and 2013.
Enough extras and spares to almost build another car: Sturdy 993 head motor with 12 nights since refresh, quickfuel carb, powerglide tranny built by Bell, Moser 58” rear end, radiator, custom built upper a-arms, driveshafts, plenty of extra wheels and tires, shocks, water pumps, distributor, fuel pump, suspension parts, a pile of springs, too many spare parts to list. All racing related tools will go with the car too including groover, siper, beadbreaker, stagger gauge, etc.

Also have 2000 24’ Classic Dominator car trailer for sale at $6,000 obo – new rubber mat and aluminum treadplate floor, tire rack, aluminum cabinets, multiple trays and oil holders, homemade roof observation deck. 5200 pound axles, new tires 4 years ago have around 40% tread left yet, includes weight distribution/sway control hitch.
